San Antonio Bar Association Peacemaker Awards

In 1995 Brad Braune was commissioned by the San Antonio Bar Association to create an image that would symbolize their newly founded Peacemaker Awards.  These awards would be given by the Bar Association to people in the community who contributed their energy and effort towards resolving conflict in a peaceful way.  The image in the painting is of a cactus in bloom, only one of the blooms is the wing of a dove.  The original painting was donated to the Bar Association and auctioned at the annual dinner to help raise money to fund the awards program.
